About Your Instructor
Zeamoon represents the individual endeavor of Simon Neumann, an accomplished and educated audio engineer, musician, and producer originating from Germany. Renowned for his captivating chillout project ‘Seamoon’ and his collaborative prog-psytrance duo ‘Sonic Tickle’ alongside his companion Janosch Wolf, Simon possesses extensive expertise in sculpting frequencies to provide personal delight and an exhilarating dancefloor experience. His debut EP, “Sawtooth Surgery,” ascended to the top spot on JunoDownloads’ Psytrance Charts. Through his Zeamoon project, Simon focuses on crafting progressive psychedelic trance tracks that strike a harmonious balance between mind-bending psychedelic sawtooth melodies and infectious rhythms designed for the groove and dancefloor. His distinct style is characterized by impeccable production quality, featuring colossal basslines and an unwavering forward momentum.
Coming from a background as a drummer, he spent a few years playing in a traditional jazz trio and began producing hip hop beats, dub, and trip hop at a young age, drawing inspiration from various influences. This eventually led him into the realm of electronic music, where he released tracks on renowned labels like Merkaba Music, Another Psyde Rec, Uroboros Rec, and Technophobia Rec. Additionally, he has mastered numerous albums that have reached impressive rankings on the Beatport Charts. Simon’s extensive experience in the industry is evident in this course.
