  • Resample Basses in Sampler to create classic KOAN sound style basses and the FM oscillator in Sampler in creative ways.
  • Arrange all of the elements from the entire course into the foundations of a killer Neurohop tune.

About Your Instructor

Hailing from Deerfield Beach, Florida, Tom Brennan, also known as Keota, is a highly versatile and prolific producer in the rapidly growing electronic music scene. He specializes in genres like garage, dubstep, neurohop, halftime, and experimental.

Keota’s music has gained recognition and found its way onto playlists curated by renowned labels like Wonk#ay Records, sharing the spotlight with esteemed artists such as Kursa, Seppa, Chrizpy Chris, Audio Gutter, Samurai Breaks, and more.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with notable musicians like Culprate, DeeZ, Smigonaut, and Ehiorobo. Since his debut EP ‘Knowing’ in 2014, Keota has consistently released a wealth of music in the form of numerous singles and EPs. His most recent offering, ‘Uneven Scraggle,’ was released in October 2018.

In addition to his production work and collaborations, Keota also offers his own sample packs for sale and shares his expertise in electronic music production through his YouTube channel. There, he imparts valuable tips and techniques that he has acquired and refined over the years.
